Biography presented during plaque dedication:
Pilot Officer Felix Milton Burrows of 115 Squadron was born in Fremantle, February 1924 to Frederick and Mary Burrows. He was one of four boys and six girls.
He was a home loving lad with a great sense of humour and was a devout Christian. The family were very musical and Felix's favourite instrument was the banjo. They took part in many musical evenings together. Felix was also a keen surfer.
He was drafted into the army in March 1942 and transferred to the RAAF in June. After training he was posted to 115 Squadron in England and flew Lancasters from Witchford.
He was held in high esteem by all who knew him and was greatly missed by all.
Pilot officer Felix Milton Burrows was posted missing in action on 15 November 1944 at Dortmund. He was 20 years of age.
