Plaques are added to Kings Park's Honour Avenues during regular dedication services held at May Circle (the site of the initial dedication in 1919). Details of some of the recent ceremonies are provided below. You may be interested in how to apply for a plaque.
6 December 2025
On 6 December 2025, six plaques were dedicated during a service held in Kings Park and Botanic Garden. Plaques were presented by Ms Morgan Marsh, Executive Director of the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and Ian Petkoff, Chairperson of the Honour Avenues Group:
- Geoff Tilley accepted the plaque of Private Andrew Wilson on behalf of Richard Johnston.
- Philip Dines accepted the plaque as the great nephew of Private Thomas Dines.
- Pamela Babb accepted the plaque as the niece of Flying Officer Robert Jeffries.
- Stephanie Young accepted the plaque as the great niece of Private Thomas Maslin.
- Hayley Goad accepted the plaque as the great granddaughter of Private George Maslin.
- Rodney Maslin accepted the plaque as the nephew of Corporal Selwin Maslin.
21 June 2025

- Blair Faithful accepted the plaque as the great grandnephew of Private Ronald Page.

- Peter Crook accepted the plaque as the nephew of Corporal David Crook.

28 May 2025
Nine plaques were dedicated during a unique service dedicated to indigenous soldiers held at the State War Memorial in Kings Park and Botanic Garden on 28 May 2025. An address was made by Governor Chris Dawson and plaques were presented by Ian Petkoff, Chairperson of the Honour Avenues Group to honour the following indigenous soldiers:
